    Ben Watts R-O-N-E

Artist in Residence (Click for more info)

    Ben Watts

Internationally renowned artist and LA based photographer Ben Watts, (brother of movie star, Naomi Watts), is an icon in his own right. Shooting for the likes of Nike, Vanity Fair, Elle and Rolling Stone, Watts brings the frenetic verve of street photography to his diverse body of work. With an incredible variety of subjects – from teenage ice skaters and Brooklyn biker gangs to world-famous actors, supermodels and musicians – Watts captures a feeling of barely contained, youthful energy. His photographs vibrate like a boom box blasting drums and bass.

MOMMI’s SW London branch is home to a carefully curated collection from Ben Watts’ brilliant body of work; a bright, vivacious collection of energetic photos and prints.

“The excitement of his brilliant photography comes from an unending passion for people mixed with his intense curiosity and impeccable personal style. You see his zest for life in every photograph. With Ben’s direction, his subjects become performers from the moment they step into his ring.” — Jim Moore, Creative Director, GQ

    MOMMI embraces her inner VEGAN…

    Clapham SW4, London

The effortlessly healthy style of Peruvian/Japanese cuisine has always lent itself naturally to veggie friendly dishes. The abundance of beautifully coloured and epically flavoured indigenous ingredients a fabulous palate for those keen on a bit of veg in their life…

With the launch of their latest seasonal offering, MOMMI has gone that one step further, exploring Veganism as the inspiration for one third of their menu content. And what a third it is. Stars of the show are undoubtedly Robata grilled courgette & mushroom, sweet potato & yuzu causa, The Raw Bar’s Heirloom Tomato, Avocado & Sweet Potato Chirashi Sushi, Seasoned Rice, Roasted Yellow Peppers & Aji Amarillo and who could ignore the crowd pleasing delectability of our house Gyoza?

Vegetarian, Vegan, Dairy Free or full on Carnivore. We dare you to disapprove…

Why the change? Our win at the FFEOA ‘17 put us firmly on the map with regards to a solid reputation for looking after guests with allergies & intolerances. The increasing guest demand for Dairy Free dishes (we also offer a fully curated DF menu) led us to a point of no return… Veganism, we embrace you with enthusiasm and love!
